From 13 to 15 March 2019 we will hold the International Conference of the LIFE+Pinzón project entitled “Conservation of threatened island birds through the establishment of new populations and habitat restoration”. Experts and researchers from Seychelles, New Zealand, Hawaii, Mauritius, Azores, Cape Verde and the Canary Islands will present their experiences in conservation of threatened birds.
The conference will consist of 2 sessions (Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th) with presentations in the Salón de Actos (auditorium) of Edificio de Usos Múltiples I of the Gobierno de Canarias (Government of the Canary Islands), in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria, ending in a morning field visit (Friday 15th) to the project area.
