International Conference LIFE+ Pinzón

The project LIFE+Pinzón held in Gran Canaria from 13th to 15th March 2019 the International Conference «Conservation of threatened Island birds through the establishment of new populations and habitat restoration». During the first two days, experts on conservation explained their experience working for the protection of different species of threatened birds in islands and on the third day we visited the area of the project LIFE+Pinzón at the Central summit of Gran Canaria , showing reforestation actions done and the habitat of the Gran Canaria blue chaffinch at the summit (where the project is working to consolidate the a sustainable population).
